Excitement!

Most of you have already heard this, but maybe this will make it sink in. Well at least from my point of view. On Thursday afternoon, I had a call from a Provo number that I did not know. Confused, I answer. It turns out it is the secretary from the HR Office in the BYU Bookstore. I received the job I interviewed for earlier that week. I wasn't expecting the call since they said I would know on Friday. So I have orientation into the position at two on Tuesday. When I actually start is unknown to me, but my roommate who has worked there said she started the next day, which I'm totally cool with. My hours are from 7:45-10:45am and some saturdays (those hours are unknown too). I will most likely have to work through Thanksgiving, some of Christmas break, and President's day or something like that.
This means that I too will have to be back on monday, and can't leave for Casa Grande at 10am this friday like I wanted to for Jeff and Mel's reception. But what's forty-five more minutes?

  2. Ww're so excited for you Dane! See? Heavenly Father DOES take care of you! Isn't this way better than being a delivery truck driver? I thought so.

  3. Thanks Janessa and Kate. And I totally do like this job way better than a delivery truck position. Even the vending machine job doesn't sound as cool. Besides the people you meet on that job would be cranky fat people that NEED their 100 grams of daily chocolate consumption before noon. At the book store job I get to talk to studious hot returned missionaries... Oh I'm not bias at all.
